Power & Performance.
Powered by a high performance Scania DC13 engine delivering 294 kW at 1,800 rpm and strong torque, the DL580 7 achieves fast acceleration, responsive performance and fuel efficient operation under heavy load. Multiple working modes, including ECO, Standard and Power, allow operators to tailor engine response to the task. A turbocharger optimises power delivery across a wide rpm range, increasing torque, improving response and reducing fuel use.
The DL580-7 features a five speed powershift transmission with lock up capability that delivers smooth gear changes, excellent traction and high travel speeds even on steep grades. Automatic traction control, reinforced axles, sintered brake discs and optional axle cooling ensure strong performance and long term reliability in demanding environments.
A redesigned Z bar linkage and reinforced lift arm structure provide excellent breakout force, rapid cycle times and increased lift height. The Load Isolation System stabilises the machine when travelling with a loaded bucket, reducing pitching and contributing to faster, smoother work cycles.
Operator Comfort.
Inside the cab, the DL580-7 offers improved operator visibility, refined ergonomics and premium comfort features. A suspension seat with lumbar support, electric joystick steering, adjustable controls and reduced cab noise ensure all day comfort. The 8 inch DEVELON Smart Touch display centralises machine settings, rear view camera display, weighing system data and performance monitoring.
Safety.
Safety is enhanced with full handrails, wide steps, slip resistant platforms, high visibility lighting options, excellent sightlines and integrated monitoring systems.
